The Wii has had some lousy platformer games over the past years.

and many, many more.
But LostWinds is an exception.
The amount of hype over lost winds did not go to waste.
In LostWinds you take control over a boy called Toku who comes across a wind spirit.
At that moment, he is destined into restoring peace to the land.
Toku must use this wind power to draw flames from torches, rise water out of streams and float through the air.
Although LostWinds has many elements to it, you will be disappointed.
Don't get it wrong! LostWinds is a brilliant game, but you will find it to be heartbreakingly short.
Once you have gotten into the game and have attached yourself to the characters and the story line, it will feel like your lover has broken up with you.
In conclusion, it might not have a high production of value like in Super Mario Galaxy, but it is worth taking your time to play and admire this game.
